How to disable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) in Meta Business Manager

⚠️ Important: this is different from the WhatsApp Business 2FA.
The 2FA setting in Meta Business Manager can block our technical team from accessing your assets during the WhatsApp API migration.
Please ask the Business Admin to follow these steps.

🔹 Steps to disable 2FA in Business Manager

1. Go to 👉 https://business.facebook.com/settings
   (or open Business Settings → Security Center)
2. In the left-side menu, click Security Center.
3. Find the Two-Factor Authentication section.
4. Click Edit next to the setting.
5. If it shows “Required for everyone”, change it to one of the following:
   • “Admins only”, or
   • “No one / Off”, if you want to completely disable it during migration.
6. Save the changes.
7. Ask all business members who had 2FA enabled to log out and log back in to update access permissions.
    

🔁 After migration

Once the number is connected to the WhatsApp API, please reactivate 2FA with the same previous setting (recommended: Admins only).
